Responsibilities:Assess and understand business requirementsValidate business requirements against the implementation through comprehensive testingResponsible for the overall testing strategy and execution.Responsible for defining and implementing an automated testing framework across Application Integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Warehouse.Produce client deliverables such as detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and test report any other assets.Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfactionActing as an Agile tester, flexible to play multiple roles in the teamShare knowledge with the team through training, documents, etc.Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by projectWrite test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifactsExecute data scripts and detailed analysis on the scriptsCreate strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL componentsData mining and detailed data analysis on data warehousing systemsExecute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data related projectsProvide input and support big data testing initiativeDefine and track quality assurance metrics and be responsible for quality analysisDocument all problems and assists in their resolutionIndependently manage assigned tasksCoach and mentor junior peopleAutomation skills: Used or have implemented end to end. (Validate extracted data based on Rules/Test cases/Requirements).Tools: Should have exposure to AWS servicesShould have tested huge volumes of data spread across different sources.Should be a good communicator, orally as well as written skills.This role requires interaction with various team members, and should be able to extract info and provide his/her updates.

Qualifications:Extraordinary level of understanding for complex business requirementsHands on experience of Application Integration, ETL, BI TestingHands on experience in the following activities: test strategy definition, test automation, test estimation, test planning and test reportingExperience in at least one of the following database technologies: Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, SnowflakeHands-on experience with API and application integration testingExperience with data integration, ingestion, pipeline, and transformation technologies including Informatica, Talend, Databricks, Qlik, Fivetran, MatillionCreate SQL scripts based ETL mapping documentsCreate and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL componentsExpert in Database testing with excellent PL SQL skills and queriesData warehouse testing experienceHands on experience in relational databases and database architectureHands on experience interpreting and understanding data modelsDeep understanding of automation test framework design and hands on experience in automation testingDemonstrates a breadth and/or depth of technical/Industry competenceStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills, consultative mindsetMust be flexible to new situations and challengesPassion for deliveryGood time management skillsProblem solving skills are requiredHadoop experience will be plus
