The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting deparment. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions for our offices in India and the EMER region.

What You’ll Do

Be responsible for General Accounting duties, such as managing the general ledger system, generating and inputting journal entries, conducting month-end closing tasks, and reconciling various accounts. Review and validate accounts payable transactions. Provide support in overseeing payroll operations for the India office. Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees for the India office. Coordinate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team, Accounts Payable team, and business partners to prepare and maintain monthly accruals, ensuring accurate expense capture and month-end cutoff. Analyze financial data and present summarized financial status reports. Evaluate intercompany account balances between US and international subsidiaries. Collaborate with auditors throughout audit processes, addressing audit findings promptly and ensuring timely resolution. Continuously identify and implement streamlined procedures and processes for improved efficiency.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Chartered Accountant (CA) is required 5+ years of accounting & payroll experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
