Responsibilities: We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer III with strong expertise in backend development to design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, micro services architecture, cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and micro services. Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. Work with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) to build cloud-native solutions. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features. Drive performance improvements, scalability enhancements, and system reliability. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. Required Qualifications: 6–8 years of professional experience in backend software engineering. Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and object-oriented programming. Expertise in micro services architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar). Strong knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar). Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks. Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Ability to mentor, coach, and lead technical discussions.
