What You'll Do

You will be responsible for architecting, scaling, and optimizing data and platform solutions on BCG's Assignment Pro (APRO) platform and adjacent systems (like Workday).

Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will bring deep platform configuration knowledge, strong SQL/data engineering skills, and the ability to design, build, and deploy complex solutions typically delivered by vendor-side technical consultants.

You will partner with product owners, engineering squads, and business stakeholders to design data pipelines, reporting, automated workflows, and technical configurations that enhance mobility operations and enable real-time decision-making.

In this role, you will help produce recurring and ad hoc reports, monitor data flows and anomalies, and support data-related operations and enhancements. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, gaining a strong understanding of mobility processes and how technology enables them.

• Function as the AssignmentPro platform SME with deep knowledge of all key modules, configurations, workflows, and data schemas.
• System Configurations and set up.
• Development of complex SQL queries, data pipelines, and mobility-specific data models to support policy analysis, reporting automation, and predictive insights.
• Operational & Ad-Hoc Reporting

Create and maintain executive dashboards and KPI frameworks across global mobility programs (e.g., assignment health, satisfaction, cycle time, cost analytics).

• Monitoring Data Consistency

Review and help maintain alignment of data between AssignmentPro and downstream systems, identifying and resolving mismatches. Participate in regular data audits—updating end dates, managing file closures, and allocating licenses accurately.

• Engaging with Users & Resolving Issues

Respond to questions and investigate discrepancies raised by users or teams using reporting outputs.

• Learning the Landscape

Gain a working understanding of AssignmentPro workflows, data models, and integration points with other systems. Supporting Presentations

Translate findings into clean and effective visuals or PowerPoint slides for internal stakeholders.

• Testing & Quality Checks

Participate in test planning and execution during enhancements or releases to ensure accuracy and functionality. Help with UAT and system testing for new features and configuration changes, ensuring alignment with policy, operations, and analytics requirements.

• Documentation & Enablement

Develop documentation, job aids, or quick reference materials to support change and adoption across users.

What You'll Bring

• 3- 5 years of experience in technical business analysis, data engineering, or platform analytics roles in a SaaS environment, ideally in Global Mobility or HR Tech.
• Strong expertise in SQL (including performance optimization, complex joins, data transformations) and enterprise BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven experience delivering configuration and technical solutions with SAAS solutions that align with business workflows and global policy frameworks.
• Ability to manage technical vendor relationships and function as the primary escalation point for daily platform issues and change requests.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to distil complex technical solutions into business-friendly language and presentations.
• Experience working in Agile environments and working on cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Prior experience with Workday integrations, data mapping, and cross-system reconciliation is strongly preferred.
• AssignmentPro (Equus) Certified is ideal but not required, with demonstrable in-depth knowledge of platform architecture, configuration, reporting engine, and data flows.

• Tracking Tasks & Coordinating Delivery

Helping manage timelines and priorities across the team, identifying potential blockers early and communicating them clearly.

• Stakeholder Engagement

Translating business requirements into technical design specs, guiding feasibility decisions.

• Technical Enablement

Working in Agile systems, documenting processes, and supporting internal teams in platform adoption and reporting capabilities.
