Qualification Required

· Education: M.Tech / B.Tech in Optics / Photonics.

· Work Experience: 0-2 Years

Key Responsibilities

· Optical design and analysis of electro-optical devices (night vision, day optics, IR lenses).

· Design analysis of components, modules, and complete device.

· Support fabrication of prototypes and finalized assemblies (eyepieces, lens assemblies, etc.).

· Modify existing designs to meet new requirements and conduct root cause analysis & testing.

· Source and refine optical components considering availability, cost, and obsolescence.

· Prepare and present designs to internal teams and stakeholders.

· Maintain documentation and reports as per company standards and project processes.

· Analyze technology trends and competitor products for upgrades.

· Assist manager/HOD with vendor selection, OEM tie-ups, and product demos.

· Frame proposals and communicate with OEM for compliance, authorization, and certifications.

· Study testing methods for thermal and night vision products.

· Draft technical specifications for tenders and support SAP case updates where applicable.

Desired Experience & Skills

· 0–2 years of hands-on experience with Zemax / Oslo and optical assemblies.

· Strong knowledge in the design of electro-optical devices.

· Proficiency in 3D modeling, design analysis, and generation of design drawings.

· Familiarity with optical and electro-optical design documentation.

· Willingness to travel across India for demonstrations and trials.

· Experience in electronic devices and thermal image processing will be an added advantage.
