Job Description:

The main job responsibilities are to manage marine engineering projects from inception to completion, overseeing planning, technical execution, team coordination, budget adherence, and quality control to ensure successful delivery. Key responsibilities include developing project plans and budgets, coordinating stakeholders, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and reporting project status to clients and management. This role requires a blend of technical engineering knowledge and strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.

candidate should have a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and relevant experience in marine industry. A bachelor's degree in marine engineering or a related field is required, along with experience in marine regulations, engineering design, and project management. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marine engineering, project management, and engineering design.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
  • Experience with ship handling, ship operation and other prevalent techniques in marine field is required.
  • Strong understanding of marine engineering subjects (e.g., fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science).
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).
  • Experience with marine equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Knowledge of skills such as use of excel, python etc. to carryout data analysis would be added advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership skills (for some roles).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Requires strong understanding of engineering disciplines (Hull Structure, Marine, Naval Architecture) and experience in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
