Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the South West.  You will join a dedicated team of people who are passionate about getting to know the people they care for. We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Home Care North Metro team as a Qualified Support Worker supporting areas in every corner of the north metropolitan area  Whilst you use your own car we offer a travel allowance of $0.99 per kilometre. To be considered for this role you will be available to work: Permanent part time (minimum 20 hours per week guaranteed) Working shifts between the hours of 7am – 3pm across Monday to Friday. Weekend availabilities would be preferred. About the role: Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning) Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately Provide respect and compassion to clients Support customer with transport to appointments Provide social support to customers spending time doing the things they love  About you: Certificate 3 in Individual Support Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one Willing to obtain required vaccinations – 1x covid and annual flu  Working with Bethanie At Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers and residents.
