Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mid-Level Backend Developer. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The role includes collaborating with front-end developers, integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic, and optimizing applications for best performance and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience in Software Development and Programming
  • An understanding of Front-End Development for seamless integration with back-end services
  • Proficiency in using and integrating with CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with AI-enhanced tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

  • API Implementation: Build specific API endpoints and integrate with frontend applications
  • Database Operations: Implement database queries, migrations, and data management tasks
  • Service Integration: Connect various microservices and handle inter-service communication
  • Feature Development: Implement medium-complexity backend features under architectural guidance
  • Testing & Documentation: Write comprehensive tests and maintain API documentation
