We are seeking a talented and motivatedBackend Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible fordeveloping the backend infrastructure of our upcoming social mediaapp. As a key player in a lean tech team you will work closely withour sole product manager to bring our vision tolife.
Responsibilities: 1.Design implement and maintain scalable backend systems to supportthe seamless integration of shortform videocontent.2. Collaborate with the productmanager to understand and implement features that enhance userengagement and satisfaction.3. Develop andoptimize database structures to efficiently handle user dataensuring a smooth user experience.4.Implement and maintain secure and efficient APIs for communicationbetween the backend and frontend components of theapp.5. Work closely with crossfunctionalteams to ensure alignment between backend development and overallproject goals.6. Contribute to thedevelopment of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within acosteffective and efficient framework.7.Troubleshoot debug and resolve backend issues to ensure a robustand reliable application.8. Stay uptodatewith industry trends and best practices to bring innovativesolutions to the developmentprocess.
Requirements: 1.Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceEngineering.2. Proven experience as aBackend Engineer with a focus on scalable and highperformancesystems.3. Solid understanding of backendtechnologies including but not limited to Node.js Python orJava.4. Experience with databases both SQLand NoSQL and their optimization.5.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GoogleCloud.6. Strong problemsolving skills andthe ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborativeenvironment.7. Excellent communicationskills and the ability to translate technical concepts tonontechnicalstakeholders.
BonusSkills: 1. Experience withsocial media app development.2. Familiaritywith microservices architecture.3. Knowledgeof video processing and streamingtechnologies.
