Job Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team based in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for running and delivering our payroll and benefits needs in North America. We are looking for an expert who is passionate about automation, driving efficiencies and bringing continuous improvements in execution to ensure that our service scales with the rapid growth of Arm.
Running the delivery of payroll for North America. This will include ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of transactions including salaries, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and standard methodologies. Implementing operational improvements to streamline the payroll and benefits processes to ensure that our generous reward and benefits are delivered to employees seamlessly. Collaborating with colleagues across the People team to deliver a service which is high quality, accurate and with a high degree of customer service. Completing relevant payroll, 401k and benefits policies and practices, maintaining compliance with legislative and audit requirements. Producing timely and accurate reporting for customers across the business including; Reward and Finance. Responding to payroll and benefit related queries from employees and key customers.
Required Skills and Experience :
You will be a payroll expert with extensive and current experience of hands-on delivery of working a large payroll (circa 1500 people). You will also be experienced in delivering 401k and benefit activities. You'll be comfortable and experienced using Success Factors software and ADP You will need a detailed understanding of payroll and 401k statutory knowledge and extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll. You will be a highly skilled and proficient user of MS Excel. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, together with highly developed numerical reasoning. You will be passionate about process improvements and driving efficiencies, challenging the status-quo To identify, understand and address needs, you will need to be a great communicator, who cares deeply about building relationships and have a customer-centric approach. You will have excellent administration and organisation skills with the ability to progress several tasks simultaneously, prioritise a multi-faced workload and manage systems and processes effectively. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of collaborative working which gets things done effectively and efficiently. You will be experienced working with an outsourced payroll bureau
