Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in developing Java Microservices to join our development team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Java Microservices applications Architect, build, and optimize high-performance and highly available microservices Experience in developing applications in AWS, including AWS Lambda, S3, and other relevant services Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices Implement testing strategies, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure code quality and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in Java and microservices development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred) 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases) Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and ECS Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile processes, and DevOps practices Excellent problem-solving and communication skills A self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team

Nice to Have:

Experience with message broker systems: ActiveMQ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools: Jenkins

Working days/hours:  Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
