Role & responsibilities
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate and monitor equipment used in the manufacturing of OSD products, such as granulation equipment, blending machines, tablet presses,
- Set up machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product quality.
- Production Execution:
- Follow batch records, work instructions, and SOPs to manufacture OSD products in accordance with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Monitor production processes to ensure products are produced within specifications regarding quality, yield, and output.
- Perform in-process checks and sampling to verify product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Report any deviations or non-conformances to supervisors and assist in investigations and corrective actions.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including batch records, logbooks, and equipment records.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all operational activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Participate in safety training sessions and follow guidelines for hazardous materials handling and disposal.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality control personnel, maintenance technicians, and other team members to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers and continuity in operations.
- Support cross-training efforts to enhance flexibility and skill development within the production team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and waste reduction in OSD manufacturing operations.
- Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address recurring issues and enhance product quality and productivity.
- Participate in validation activities for equipment, processes, and cleaning procedures as required.
