The Role

At Kyndryl, we are looking for a strategic and client-facing Security Manager to lead to drive the business development, pre-sales engagement, and delivery of Encryption, Key, Certificate, and Secrets Lifecycle Management solutions, focusing on Thales and Entrust technologies. This role bridges the gap between cybersecurity technology and business value, leading end-to-end engagements from opportunity identification to solution delivery for enterprise clients across diverse industries.

As an Encryption & Key Lifecycle Management Consultant, you'll be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, ensuring organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape. Your expertise will be sought after as you assess, analyze, and implement effective security measures in customer environments, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to safeguarding their most sensitive data.

Collaboration will be your forte, as you work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. Armed with this knowledge, you'll provide expert guidance and recommendations on the best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies that will fortify their defenses.

You won't stop at providing advice; you'll roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. Designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures will be your playground. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and encryption technologies, ensuring a comprehensive security framework.

Armed with your extensive knowledge, you'll conduct thorough security assessments, leaving no stone unturned in identifying potential security breaches. Your findings will serve as the foundation for meticulous security audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Business Development & Pre-sales

• Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities in cryptographic services.
• Lead customer-facing presentations, demos, and technical workshops on Thales (CipherTrust, Luna HSM) and Entrust (Cryptographic Security Platform, nShield, PKI, KeyControl, Certificate Manager) solutions.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with tailored solutions and architectural designs that meet client security, operational and compliance needs.
• Influence and shape client security strategies around Post Quantum readiness, key management, encryption, PKI, and secrets governance.

Solution Architecture & Delivery Oversight

• Define technical architectures and solution blueprints for cryptographic systems using Thales and Entrust platforms.
• Lead or support implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of delivery—from scope definition and planning through implementation and handover.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and integrated with cloud, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructures.

Practice Leadership

• Develop reusable delivery assets (templates, playbooks, reference architectures) for cryptographic services, now and for Post Quantum transitions.
• Build partnerships with Thales, Entrust, and related technology vendors to stay current on product capabilities and roadmaps.
• Mentor internal teams and build competency across engineering and delivery functions.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategies, offerings development, and technical marketing.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of overall experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in cryptographic solution delivery and presales roles.
• Prior experience in a cybersecurity consulting or managed services environment.
• Direct engagement experience with Thales and Entrust platforms in customer-facing roles.
• Certifications preferred: Thales Certified Solutions Architect, Entrust Certified Professional, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
