Role Overview:

The CDP/DCDP – Pizza will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting pizzas and related dishes to the highest standards, ensuring authenticity, consistency, and quality. The role involves managing the pizza station, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas (wood-fired, stone-baked, thin crust, deep dish, etc.) as per standard recipes.
  • Ensure dough preparation, proofing, rolling, and topping application is done accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Handle mise-en-place for the pizza section (dough, sauces, cheese, toppings).
  • Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired/electric/deck) safely and efficiently.
  • Train and supervise junior team members/commis in the pizza section.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef/Head Chef in developing new pizza recipes and menu items.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure availability of ingredients, minimizing wastage.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP standards).
  • Support other sections of the kitchen when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as CDP/DCDP in a pizza or Italian cuisine section in a reputed restaurant/hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, dough fermentation, toppings, and baking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced kitchen environment.
  • Culinary diploma/degree or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Good teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HACCP/food safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
