About Company

A rapidly growing SaaS company operating in the healthcare technology space, focused on building smart, data-driven solutions that help service providers improve operational efficiency and patient engagement. The platform is purpose-built for a specialized segment within healthcare, with deep use cases tailored for practices like dental care. With a strong and growing customer base across global markets, the company is on a mission to simplify practice management through intuitive tools and automation — all driven by a passionate, cross-functional team.

Position Overview

You safeguard every release of a mission-critical healthcare SaaS platform used by thousands of providers. You collaborate with product and engineering to stop defects early, shorten release cycles, and elevate user trust. As the client scales, you shape automation, CI/CD quality gates, and QA best practices that turn quality into a strategic growth driver.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Apply Agile or Scrum practices in sprint-level QA activities.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies: planning, estimations, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Validate functionality across browsers, mobile devices (iOS and Android), and multiple environments.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers to ensure test coverage and secure QA sign-off.
  • Continuously improve QA workflows, documentation, and quality benchmarks.
  • Design clear, reusable test cases aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage test cycles and results in JIRA or equivalent test management tools.
  • Own the defect lifecycle—from logging, triage, and prioritization through to closure.
  • Ensure severity and priority levels are accurate and drive team focus.
  • Contribute to test automation, CI/CD quality gates, and QA best practices as the platform scales.
  • Track and report QA metrics such as defect detection rate, regression stability, release quality index, and test coverage.

Must have Criteria

  • 1–2 years in software QA or testing roles with exposure to both Agile and Waterfall models.
  • Prior QA experience with SaaS platforms; healthcare, hospitality, or VoIP domains preferred.
  • Experience in mobile and web application testing across functional, regression, and integration layers.
  • Strong foundation in API testing.
  • Skilled at writing SQL queries for database validation.
  • Exposure to bot testing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to derive tests from user stories and functional specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate user scenarios.
  • Comfort collaborating with distributed on-shore and off-shore teams.
  • Willingness to push back when release quality is at risk.
  • Knowledge of TDD and BDD concepts.
  • Growth-oriented, self-driven, and committed to continuous learning.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into logical test workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Experience with JIRA or equivalent test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Ability to connect automated tests to CI/CD pipelines.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to safeguard mission-critical SaaS used by thousands of practices.
  • Exposure to a modern QA stack that includes automation, CI/CD, and cloud-based testing tools.
  • Direct impact on a customer-first mission that values reliable and seamless product releases.
  • Competitive package covering salary, performance bonuses, paid time off, health benefits, and potential equity.
  • Clear career growth path toward QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or QA Manager roles as the company expands globally.
