Job Summary:  


We seek a skilled and experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team at Carrus Mobility. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing, developing, and testing power electronics systems, focusing strongly on renewable energy solutions, converters, inverters, and energy management systems. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in cold-chain logistics.


 Key Responsibilities:   


 Design & Development:  

- Design and simulate power electronics circuits and systems (e.g., DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters, motor drives, VFD, power supplies).  

- Develop power electronics solutions for renewable energy applications, such as solar inverters and battery management systems (BMS).  

- Ensure all designs meet specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.  

-Components and Sub-systems Selection


 Testing & Validation:  

- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and performance analysis of power electronics systems.  

- Use tools like MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, and PSpice for modeling and simulation.  

- Diagnose and resolve efficiency, circuit performance, and thermal management issues.  


 System Integration:   

- Collaborate with integration teams to embed power electronics modules into larger systems, including Reefer containers and energy management setups.  

- Perform fault diagnosis and validation to ensure smooth operation and performance optimization.  


 Continuous Improvement:  

- Research emerging technologies to improve system efficiency, reduce costs, and overcome technical challenges.  

- Propose innovative solutions to optimize energy systems for various applications.  


 Documentation & Reporting:   

- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and validation reports.  

- Present updates and insights to management and stakeholders.  


 Collaboration:  

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, IoT engineers, and software developers.  

- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for component sourcing and technical upgrades.  


 Skills and Qualifications:   


 Education:   

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.  


 Experience:  

- 3-5 years of professional experience in power electronics design, development, and testing.  

- Experience in power conversion systems, inverters, converters, renewable energy systems, or motor drives.  


 Technical Skills:  

- Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, and PSpice.  

- Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices (MOSFET, IGBT), passive components, and magnetic components.  

- Expertise in high-efficiency power conversion topologies (e.g., buck, boost, resonant converters).  

- Understanding of control techniques like PWM and MPPT.  

- Knowledge of thermal management and power dissipation analysis.  


 Soft Skills:   

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.  

- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts.  

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.  


 Tools & Software:   

- Experience with CAD/EDA tools for PCB design (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle).  

- Familiarity with embedded systems and DSP/microcontroller-based digital control.  


 Preferred: 

- Certifications in Power Electronics or renewable energy fields.  

- Experience in renewable energy, automotive, or industrial automation sectors.  

- Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., IEC, UL) and environmental compliance.  

- Experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and energy storage solutions.
