Job PurposeThe Design Engineer is responsible to develop design and analysis of components for existing/New products of Royal Enfield . The incumbent will be responsible for Designing components and aggregates in line with vehicle package and styling requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development of EV Charger and charging system with both hardware and software along with CAN, PLC communication and control.Development of Charger control strategy, software development as per V cycle / AGILE Methodology using Matlab-Simulink, Embedded C,Stack development, Android programming, App.Development, meeting HARA and Functional Safety as per ISO26262.Development of Charger Diagnostics control strategy and implementation on chosen hardware meeting AC001 and DC001 requirementsVehicle Charger Stack Software testing and validation using SIL, MIL and HIL systems used by TVSM.Development of Charging system algorithms, software, hardware and infrastructure related components.Development of network encrypted protocol for Charger communication..Development of IoT, OTA for 2W EV.Development of Cybersecurity algorithms, Software for Charging systems.
Functional competencyMatlab-Simulink, C++programming, Amesim.Java, SQL, OS, AI, ML, DL, Data Science.Software testing, SIL, HIL, MIL, CAN/IVN, Embedded Security protocols.Configuration Mgmt tool, Microcontroller programming, ASPICE.Automotive Embedded system design and testing.Charger system design and testing.LTSPICE / Or CAD.Individual Competencies : decision-making, working with teams, confidence, technical know-how, self-motivation skills.Interpersonal Competencies : high energy levels, communication skills, teamwork, persuasiveness, and handling problems.Motivational Competencies: motivator, taking initiatives, involving others in taking more initiatives, and leading by example.Managerial Competencies: leadership skills, managing people/teams, quick decision-making, addressing problems, analytical skills, and strategic planningIntegrity : Consistent with words and actions, respond to pressure to act in conflict with their ethics, accept responsibility for mistakes, Doing right things in right way, belief that people are honest, credible, positive intent with track record of desired results
Work ExperienceBachelor of Engineering
(Electrical & Electronics)5+ years of experience in Hardware DesignDesign and Development of automotive lighting system.Knowledge of automotive global Hardware standards.Experience on working on EV Projects.
