Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Operations:
  • Full ownership of production planning, execution, and output targets.
  • Operate and optimize Ladle Refining Furnace, Vacuum Degassing, and EMS processes for superior billet quality.
  • Supervise casting processes ensuring metallurgical standards and cleanliness are met.
  • Ensure maximum plant uptime and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor stringent quality control protocols.
  • Lead product quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistency in mechanical and chemical properties.
  • Coordinate with the QC lab for testing, certifications, and traceability.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing production and quality team.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination between maintenance, production, and dispatch.
  • Process & Cost Optimization:
  • Implement process improvements and energy-efficient practices.
  • Drive reduction in cost per ton through lean manufacturing and waste minimization.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
  • Lead plant audits, certifications, and customer inspections.
