Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-sales support, creating effective AV solutions, and collaborating closely with clients to meet their audiovisual needs.   Responsibilities:   Pre-Sales Support: ·       Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements and objectives. Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, offering insights into AV solutions. Solution Design: ·       Design comprehensive AV solutions based on client specifications and industry best practices.Create detailed AV system schematics, diagrams, and documentation. Client Collaboration: ·       Work closely with clients to present and explain proposed AV designs, addressing any inquiries or concerns.Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Product Knowledge: ·       Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products. Collaborate with vendors to understand product features and capabilities. Collaboration with Sales Teams: ·       Partner with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations for clients.Assist in preparing accurate and competitive project bids. Quality Assurance: ·       Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks on AV solutions.Ensure that designed solutions meet both client requirements and industry standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in AV pre-sales support and design engineering. Proficient in using AV design software and tools. Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies, signal flow, and integration. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills : Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist - Design) are a plus. Familiarity with control systems (Crestron, AMX) and video conferencing solutions. Project management skills for coordinating AV installations.
