Preference- Thermal power plant projects (Capacity>100MW)

Job profile: Candidate should have experience in Project Development/ Project Engineering and erection, testing and commissioning experience of EBOP/BTG System

  1. At least one thermal power plant project (>100 MW) should have completed with engineering to commissioning activities.
  2. Candidate should have good experience in drawings review and finalization, coordination with vendors, consultants and contractors for Project related various activities Vendor selection/Development and Project Execution etc.
  3. Technical evaluation, BID discussion on vendor offers for Electrical BTG/BOP package including 400kV / 220kV /AIS/GIS switchyard and SCADA system.
  4. Electrical equipments like Power Transformers, Auxiliary Transformers, MV & LV Switchgears, Bus ducts, AVR, Generator, MV motors FAT and dispatch clearance.
  5. Earthing, Illumination and cabling drawings review and finalization.
  6. Tracking the project progress report and highlight /escalate the laggings to avoid delay in project.
  7. vendor scope understanding and field execution as per the latest applicable standards and scope.
  8. Maintain the safety during activities execution.
  9. Coordinate with various Electrical Package vendor, BTG vendor & Engineering consultant for timely submission and review / approval of drawings
  10. Perform Project Engineering, including Boiler Turbine Generator (BTG) Package and Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) packages with Review / Approval of the consultant's/ Vendor's drawings, review / approval of specification, various layouts, Sizing of Power Equipment's, organizing the meeting with Consultant Vendors to ensure the approval of documents as per schedule
  11. Organize and participate in Design and Engineering Meetings, Review meetings with Package vendors, EBOP vendor, BTG vendor & engineering consultant for smooth engineering completion, progress monitoring
  12. Regularly monitoring of engineering activities schedules for smooth execution of Construction activities at site.
  13. Provide Technical Assistance to Procurement department for getting PACs of different packages.
  14. Develop a collaborative relationship with other departments & agencies to finalize of Civil & Mechanical layouts and drawings.
