Octavus Consulting is hiring a skilled
Project Manager
to lead high-impact Competitive Intelligence (CI) projects in the Pharma/life sciences domain. You'll be the client's strategic partner, driving actionable insights and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage CI consulting projects from initiation through delivery
  • Set timelines, scope, and resource plans in alignment with client expectations
  • Conduct and supervise primary/secondary research and competitor assessments
  • Collaborate with analysts to transform data into strategic insights
  • Communicate updates and findings with internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Uphold quality standards, drive consistency, and coach junior team members

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in pharma/biotech consulting or CI roles
  • Life Sciences background (Bpharm/Mpharm/Btech/Mtech Biotech); MBA preferred
  • Proven experience managing client-facing projects in pharma/life sciences
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with CI tools, databases, and pharma pipeline tracking + PM tools like Asana etc.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset
