Job Description
On behalf of our client, an international IT service provider, we are currently looking for Senior Observability Engineer to join the team on full-time basis, fully remotely. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing system stability through advanced observability practices.
Requirements
  • Direct, hands-on experience as a platform engineer with observability tools such as New Relic, Zabbix, and ELK;
  • NewRelic: Proven expertise in leveraging NewRelic for infrastructure and application performance monitoring (APM);
  • Zabbix: Demonstrated proficiency in Zabbix for effective system monitoring and alerting;
  • Chef: Strong hands-on experience with Chef for configuration management and automation;
  • Terraform/Terragrunt: Extensive knowledge and practical application of Terraform and/or Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning and management;
  • Linux Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line utilities.
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Seniority Level: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably with prior exposure to the banking sector or similar regulated environments.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Proficiency in additional technologies such as ELK stack, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) will be advantageous.
  • Banking Sector Experience: Prior experience in the banking sector or similar regulated environments is highly desirable, with an understanding of compliance and security standards.
