Job Description

The Plant Head would be responsible for but not limited to (Production, Operations, Maintenance, Inventory, Utilities, Support Functions) Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Optimising processes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all local laws, regulations, and permits related to the manufacturing operations. Planning: Developing and implementing plans to achieve production targets and operational goals. Ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and market demands. Resource Allocation: Managing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively. Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with internal stakeholders (such as senior management, other departments) to meet company goals. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers. Financial Management: Managing the plant's budget and expenditures effectively. Crisis Management: Addressing any emergencies or unexpected situations that may impact plant operations promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate - 12 to 20 Years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setup with a strong Mechanical/Civil/Chemical background. At present the candidate who is a senior Operations/Productions role in a comparable organisation scale will be an ideal fit for the role Preferences - Chemicals/Building materials/Industrial Chemicals Candidate with exports, special packaging, exports shipping exposure will also be a high value add. Candidate should have a long term approach on creating SOPs, laying out processes, formulating strategies, with a knack of being hands on. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
