Job Title : Senior Data Privacy Specialist

Location : Pune, Bangalore, Chennai

Experience : 6 to 10 years

As a Senior Data Privacy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information, maintaining compliance with global privacy regulations, and implementing best practices to mitigate privacy risks.

Responsibilities :

Experience Discussion : Lead discussions and provide guidance based on 6 to 10 years of extensive experience in data privacy management.

Privacy Law Compliance : Demonstrate deep knowledge and practical application of privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, and LGPD.

Privacy Tools Utilization : Proficient in utilizing privacy management tools such as OneTrust or BigID to streamline compliance processes and enhance data protection measures.

Certification : Possess relevant certifications like CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) or CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) to validate expertise in privacy management.

Automation : Leverage automation solutions to enhance privacy compliance efforts and optimize operational efficiency.

Privacy Breach Incident Management : Demonstrate proficiency in managing privacy breach incidents, including investigation, containment, and resolution.

KPI and Metrics : Track and analyze KPIs and metrics related to privacy incidents, showcasing your ability to effectively manage incident volumes in previous projects.

Collaboration with IT : Work closely with IT teams to implement technical and organizational measures for ensuring a secure data environment.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration : Conduct training sessions and collaborate with other departments to raise awareness and ensure adherence to data privacy policies and procedures.

Risk Mitigation Planning : Develop comprehensive plans to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks effectively.

Financial Project Experience : Demonstrate experience in working on financial projects while ensuring compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.

Gap Assessment and PIA : Conduct gap assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with privacy requirements.

PIA Procedure Implementation : Oversee the complete procedure of PIA and ensure the successful implementation of privacy controls across all relevant processes and systems.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or related field.

- Extensive experience (6 to 10 years) in data privacy management, preferably in a similar industry.

- In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in privacy management tools such as OneTrust or BigID.

- Certification in privacy management (CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Prior experience in financial projects and familiarity with financial regulations is a plus.
