About the Role:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing Progressive Web Apps, prototyping proof-of-concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your contributions will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain multi-threaded applications using Python.
  • Build and document API-based services using Flask, Swagger, or similar frameworks.
  • Create asynchronous processing systems and data engineering pipelines.
  • Design, develop, and maintain relational and document-oriented databases like Postgres, Elastic, and MongoDB.
  • Implement and manage Docker and microservices architecture.
  • Construct and manage CI/CD pipelines for applications.
  • Debug and resolve production issues confidently.
  • Lead and mentor small teams effectively.


Required Skills:

  • 4 or more years of practical Python expertise developing multi-threaded applications.
  • 3 or more years of expertise developing and recording API-based services.
  • Proficiency with data engineering pipelines or asynchronous processing systems.
  • Strong familiarity with document-oriented and relational databases.
  • Working familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker.
  • Knowledge of constructing pipelines for CI/CD.
  • Ability to confidently troubleshoot production concerns.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to operate in an agile setting.
  • A cooperative team member with leadership qualities.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience developing with Python.
  • 3 or more years of expertise developing API-based services.
  • Programming experience in Java is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with similar frameworks such as Flask or Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB, Elastic, and Postgres databases.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and Docker.
  • A track record of troubleshooting problems in production settings.
  • Outstanding leadership and teamwork abilities.
