Job Overview
For our Q4 2025 and 2026+ ambition, we are looking for a Intern in Visualization (Power BI focus) with an enthusiasm for learning and developing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric , and will be eager to grow their technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting. In this role, you will assist in creating Power BI reports and dashboards while leveraging Microsoft Fabric for data preparation and transformation.

You will work closely with senior team members to gather requirements, create reports, and support the development of end-to-end BI solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in data and business intelligence.

Tasks

• Power BI Report and Dashboard Creation:

• Assist in the design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Use Power BI Desktop to create basic to intermediate visualizations and report layouts.

• Ensure the reports meet business requirements and provide clear, actionable insights.

• Data Integration and Modeling with Microsoft Fabric:

• Support the integration of data from various sources (SQL, Excel, and cloud services) using Microsoft Fabric (e.g., Data Factory , Dataflows , and Synapse Analytics ).

• Assist in the preparation and transformation of data in Microsoft Fabric to make it ready for reporting in Power BI.

• Learn to create data pipelines and work with Azure Data Lake to organize and manage data.

• Data Preparation and Transformation:

• Use Power Query to clean, transform, and shape data for use in Power BI reports.

• Work with senior team members to improve and optimize data models for reporting purposes.

• Collaboration and Learning:

• Work closely with senior Power BI developers, business analysts, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver data solutions.

• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance Power BI and Microsoft Fabric skills.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power BI reports and data sources.

• Documentation and Support:

• Document Power BI reports, data models, and workflows to ensure proper tracking and understanding for team members.

• Provide basic support for users of Power BI reports, including answering questions and troubleshooting minor issues.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Learn and implement best practices for optimizing Power BI reports for performance.

• Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues in reports or data processing.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Experience:

• Experience with Power BI, either through academic projects or professional experience.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (or similar data integration and analytics platforms) is a plus but not required.

• Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, report creation).

• Understanding of data modeling concepts and the ability to create basic data models in Power BI.

• Basic understanding of SQL and experience pulling data from databases (SQL Server, Excel, etc.).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components like Data Factory , Dataflows , and Synapse Analytics is a bonus.

• Learning Attitude:

• Strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI advanced features.

• Willing to engage in continuous training and development opportunities to grow technical expertise.

• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data issues and suggest solutions.

• Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Communication Skills:

• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, business stakeholders, and users.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of business intelligence.
