Our customers — including Fortune 500 companies and leading agri-businesses — trust Mitti Labs to deliver measurable impact across climate, food systems, and sustainability.We are a team of 30+ data scientists, agronomists, engineers, and operators, including leaders in NASA’s SAR program, with decades of expertise in remote sensing and GHG modeling. Role Description: Develop / support process-based model simulations of management practices (i.e., seeding, irrigation, residue, fertilizer) and environmental outcomes Quantify cropland GHG emissions, SOC, and yield across small holder farms in S Asia Integrate control vs treatment landscape experiments into model simulations working with field data and science team Support carbon credit quantification and MRV metrics Requirements 1+ years experience in crop modeling such as DSSAT or APSIM Masters (or PhD) level knowledge with crop model applications (parameterization, simulations, evaluations) Knowledge of basic agriculture and soil science principles, climate, and agri-management practices. Interest in evaluating impact of management practices on GHG, SOC, and yield. Understanding of rice cultivation would be a plus.
