Delivery Manager, AI

Position Summary

We are seeking a senior Delivery Manager to lead the execution of our strategic client engagements. This key role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex technology programs and guiding our clients through their AI transformation initiatives. You will lead a team of project and program management professionals, cultivate C-suite client relationships, and serve as a key delivery expert in pre-sales and new business pursuits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of program delivery within a technology consulting or IT services environment, coupled with demonstrable expertise in the AI and data science domain. Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale portfolio of technology projects, with a primary focus on AI and data science solutions. Ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• AI Transformation Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on their AI journey. Lead engagements from initial ideation and proof-of-concept through to the operationalization and scaling of production-level AI solutions.
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders, including executive leadership. Ensure alignment between program delivery and the client's overarching strategic and business objectives.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Project Managers and PMO staff. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by instilling best practices in AI project delivery methodologies, advanced risk management, and client service.
• Commercial & Business Development: Act as a senior delivery expert during the pre-sales cycle. Collaborate with sales and solution architecture teams to shape and validate technical solutions for RFPs, ensuring proposals are well-crafted and deliverable.
• Advanced Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, with a particular focus on the unique challenges inherent in AI projects (e.g., model bias, data drift, scalability, and ethical considerations). Implement effective quality assurance frameworks to ensure the integrity and business impact of deployed solutions.
• Drive Portfolio Performance: Own and report on program health, KPIs, and financial performance, ensuring the portfolio meets profitability and client satisfaction targets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in technology project and program management within an IT services or consulting organization.
• At least 5 years in a formal leadership role, with proven experience managing and mentoring a team of project management professionals.
• Proven AI Delivery Expertise: A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex projects involving AI, machine learning, or advanced data analytics.
• Executive-Level Communication: Significant experience in C-suite stakeholder management, with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Commercial Experience: Experience contributing to the RFP and business development process, collaborating effectively with sales and technical teams to secure new business.
• Deep understanding of the full project and program management lifecycle and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or PSM.
• In-depth knowledge of the AI/ML development lifecycle and familiarity with MLOps principles and associated technologies.
• Industry-specific experience in a sector undergoing significant AI-driven transformation, such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Technology.
• Specialized certification or formal training in Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
