Your Mission: The Role

You are a service-delivery-owning, operations-accountable solver. Not a "break-fix manager." You're the 'Chaos-to-Control' translation engine.

As a DRI (directly responsible individual) for delivering exceptional Cloud Managed Services at Searce, you'll lead the teams that ensure client environments are secure, reliable, optimized, and expertly operated 24/7. You will deliver measurable impact – improved uptime, threat reduction, and cost optimization. Not just reports. Not just alerts. Real outcomes that land on the P&L and guarantee client peace of mind.

You will lead the charge from client onboarding through to steady-state operations, reimagining how managed services are delivered to create significant business value. This role is about architecting the future of cloud operations and embedding it into today's workflows.

Your Responsibilities

This isn't a "manage tickets" role. You are the architect, the executioner and the DRI for our Cloud Managed Services GTM, deploying solutions that turn operational noise into hardened outcomes. "Operational Excellence or Nothing" is your mantra. Here's how you'll make your mark:

• Lead Service Delivery: Oversee 24/7 cloud operations, incident management, and client support, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and delivering a superior client experience.
• Architect the Blueprint: Translate business goals into scalable, automated, and secure managed cloud architectures and govern the day-to-day operational playbooks.
• Reimagine with AI: Lead the charge to futurify our managed services by embedding AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and AIOps into core operational processes.
• Execute with Accountability: Lead embedded squads that manage, monitor, and scale client cloud environments with speed & certainty.
• Drive FinOps & Impact: Own the FinOps managed service framework for your portfolio. Continuously forecast, deliver, and optimize cloud spend for clients.
• Shape the Narrative: Publish perspectives and represent Searce as the partner who turns operational complexity into business resilience.
• Inspire & Mentor: Build high-performing CloudOps, CRE, and Security teams who live the "Always Hardened" mindset.
• Lead Responsibly: Ensure governance, compliance (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA), and ethics are built into every managed service deployment.

Experience & Relevance

We are looking for future technology leaders, not just coders. We value raw intelligence, analytical rigor, and an obsessive passion for technology over any prior experience.

• Cloud Operations Pedigree: 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a significant portion in a cloud managed services or production operations leadership role.
• Leadership Background: 2+ years of hands-on credibility and practical insight to lead technical operations teams with impact.
• Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of building and scaling a net-new managed services business.
• Client-Facing Tech Acumen: 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, acting as the trusted advisor for cloud operations, security, and reliability.

Functional Skills:

• Service Delivery Mindset: A deep understanding of MSP business models, SLAs, and the importance of client satisfaction in an operational context.
• Client Engagement: Ability to ask appropriate questions to get to the heart of an operational issue and win trust with stakeholders.
• Boardroom Translation: Distill technical operational metrics, security risks, and reliability data into persuasive narratives that move boardroom decisions.
• Cross-Functional Catalyst: Thrive in multi-disciplinary teams, bringing together operations, security, and development teams.
• Repository builder: Creates reusable frameworks, IaC modules, and operational playbooks for scale.
