We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Develop and maintain regression test suites to ensure product stability.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Identify testing gaps and improve automation framework efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of failures and ensure issues are tracked and resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
  • A Masters degree or relevant certifications in backend or cloud technologies is a plus.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience (3+ years) in QA Automation for web, API, or mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or Appium.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or others).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) for test validations.
