.·12+ years of overall experience in similar rolesExpert technical understanding of technology required to implement, execute self-service data and analytics platformsStrong understanding of data platform architecture, DataOps, Automation and related technologiesExperience in Driving Computational Governance – building abstractions in the form of core-libraries, helm charts, automation pipelines to provide strong technical controls and guarantees (Interoperability of data, Observability, Lineage, Security, and encryption standards) in a decentralized context.Experience with enterprise-level budget planning and management processes Uses Confluence, JIRA, and other agile team process tools to accelerate team outcomes.Knowledge of big data platforms incorporating the data ingestion, query, governance, and deployment life cycle (KaŅa, Python, Spark) on cloud-based deployment standardsExperience with modern data platform tooling in Cloud (Azure or GCP with Databricks)Working experience with Data Ops and Automation through Software Engineering best practices.Understanding of distributed systems and providing high availability and durability guarantees for all storage systems.Database Administration skillsExperience in designing and implementing Lakehouse/ Data Mesh architecture.Influencing skills – acts as an evangelist for data platforms and capabilitiesSelf-motivated and accountable – demonstrated ability to follow through to execution.Organized – can juggle multiple, potentially competing priorities with assurance.Detail oriented – obsessed with quality.Execution oriented – doesn’t remain in the theoretical; is able to make choices / decisions in the name of delivering rapid business impactCollaborative – easy to work with, across all levels of the organization; builds effective working relationshipsBias for change – actively seeks out ways to improve processes, people, etc.As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining Competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
