This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices, encompassing cloud, mobile, big data, and IoT testing. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Process Excellence and Advanced Capabilities/Analytics: Ensure sign-offs on deliverables including overall test strategy, test plan, and test cases, ensuring alignment with governance requirements. Utilize strong OOPS programming concepts and proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript for effective test automation scripting. Actively participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards. Expertise in Test automation tools such as Playwright with TypeScript, Appium, Test Architect. Design and implement automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium/Appium for UI and API level test automation across web and mobile platforms. Implement and enhance testing and QA frameworks in eCommerce, Web Applications, or Ad Ops domains. Develop and enhance automation testing frameworks, ensuring scalability and robustness. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities. Apply comprehensive understanding of SDLC and various software engineering and testing methodologies. Proficiency in SQL for database testing and manipulation. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages. Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and testing documentation from requirements/specifications. Gather testing requirements for projects with minimal development documentation. Familiarity with popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) and issue tracking tools (JIRA, ADO).Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives. Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Provide regular updates on test progress and any issues encountered.Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure seamless integration of testing efforts.Operational & Executional Excellence: Execute functional, integration, regression, performance testing, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance.Manage test environments and ensure proper configuration for automated tests.Ensure high levels of accuracy and timeliness in test execution and reporting.Document test plans, test cases, and test results comprehensively.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Continuously seek opportunities to improve test automation processes and tools.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation.Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Contribute to the design and execution of training sessions for team members on test automation tools and techniques.Develop and maintain strong problem-solving skills to address testing challenges. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 6-10 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance roles. Strong proficiency in OOPS programming concepts and programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript. Expertise in Test automation tools such as Playwright with TypeScript, TOSCA, Test Architect, Certify. Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium/Appium). Proficiency in SQL for database testing and manipulation. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages. Experience creating test cases and testing documentation from requirements/specifications. Familiarity with popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) and issue tracking tools (JIRA, ADO). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Automation testing certification, ISTQB certification, or other relevant certifications. Experience in Microservices, API Integration testing. Knowledge of technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Big Data, AI/ML, Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Architecture, CI/CD DevOps. Familiarity with Agile Testing methodologies, test planning, and test management. Experience with API Testing and test design techniques. Experience in performance testing and data testing tools.
