Product Marketing Manager
for
POCO
specializing in
Smartphones
to take on a pivotal role in steering marketing initiatives and ensuring the success of POCO smartphone product line. This position entails performing market research, refining product positioning, scrutinizing competitors, and designing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to boost product visibility, demand, and sales, Collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, this role ensures the successful launch and ongoing success of smartphone products throughout their PLC
Responsibilities:Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscapeEar on the ground approach : Establish channels to gather customer feedback and insights to enhance offerings and Marketing messagingAnalyzeAnalyze consumer behavior, market data, and industry reports to derive insights for marketing strategiesTake ActionDevelop convincing product positioning and messaging that emphasize the product features and benefitsCreate and implement detailed go-to-market strategies for new launchesIdeate, design and execute innovative marketing campaigns for product launches and lifecycles to drive smartphone sales and engagementManage StakeholdersWork closely with product, marketing communication & sales teams to align strategies and actionsMeasure and re-learnMonitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and refine strategies for optimal impact (Timeline, Resource, KPI)Manage the marketing budget, strategically allocating resources along the product lifecyclePartner with product managers to match product features with user insights & market context
Requirements:6-10 years of experience in product marketing with a passion for technologyDeep understanding of the smartphone industry, market trends, and consumer behaviorProven success in launching smartphone/Technology productsMust have experience in successfully managing and leading marketing agenciesKnows all marketing functions with a history of executing successful 360° IMC campaignsHighly adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentA consumer-first mindset, constantly seeking insights to support product marketing strategiesStrong focus on processes and mental models to continually enhance efficiencyCuriosity and first principles led thinking to develop impactful product marketing conceptsA proactive approach, leading by example, and taking decisive actionsExcellent communication skills, capable of providing clear and effective direction even in ambiguous situationsStrong sense of ownership, Can easily switch between “Strategic Thinker” and “Persistent Doer” persona, quickly and easily
