Job Profile:Role Description:The Chief Test Architect/Test Manager will play a pivotal role in the development of an automotive stack by establishing and managing a comprehensive test framework. This framework will validate the integration, architecture, and requirements of the stack, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262 (safety), ISO 21434 (security), and ASPICE (quality management). The role involves defining a robust test strategy and framework to facilitate the future scaling of the testing team. Additionally, the Chief Test Architect/Test Manager will collaborate closely with DevOps to automate test case execution and seamlessly integrate results into the pipeline workflow.

Responsibilities:Test Framework Development:Design and implement a test framework for validating the integration and architecture of the automotive stack.Develop a test framework for validating stack requirements, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional aspects.Compliance and Standards:Ensure the testing processes comply with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE standards.Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive testing standards and incorporate them into the test strategy.Test Strategy and Planning:Define a comprehensive test strategy that covers all phases of the V-cycle, from requirements to unit testing.Plan and document test processes, procedures, and standards.Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the testing process.Team Scaling and Management:Develop a roadmap for scaling the testing team as the project progresses.Mentor and lead a team of test engineers, ensuring they are well-versed in the test framework and strategy.Conduct regular training and workshops to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.Automation and DevOps Integration:Collaborate with DevOps to automate test case execution.Ensure easy integration of test results into the CI/CD pipeline.Develop and maintain automated test scripts and ensure their robustness and reliability.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with other architects and teams to ensure alignment of testing activities with overall project goals.Communicate test progress, results, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address and resolve testing-related challenges.Qualifications:Experience:Extensive experience in automotive testing and quality assurance.Proven track record in setting up and managing test frameworks for complex systems.Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE.

Skills:Strong understanding of automotive software and hardware integration.Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Ability to define and implement test strategies and plans.Strong leadership and team management skills.
