Guidewire QA Lead

About the Job : We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the quality assurance activities for applications built on the Guidewire platform. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of QA processes, and a thorough understanding of the insurance domain. The Guidewire QA Lead will be responsible for leading a team of QA professionals, designing test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities: Following are the day-to-day work activities: Lead the quality engineering for the Guidewire policy center, Billing Center and Claims Center implementation. Conduct assessments on the maturity of the Quality Assurance processes, effectiveness, efficiency, tools and provide an implementation strategy. Build and implement Test Strategy Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle. Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality engineering across the organization. Define, create, and support reusable automated test solutions from a business and technology perspective. Create automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a product release. Execute software delivery utilizing an Agile methodology continuous delivery and continuous testing. Build product definitions and leverage technical skills to determine solutions. Mentor other engineers. Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams. Requirements: Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are: 6+ years of QA experience Experience in Guidewire policy center testing. Good to have Guidewire Billing and Claim testing Good to have test automation, frameworks, and testing tools. Good to have Rate testing Expertise in functional testing of Guidewire Policy Center application Strong expertise on testing Guidewire integration Points, Configurations Integration testing exposure using tools such as Postman / Soap UI Prior experience in Insurance P&C domain is preferable. Should have good Aptitude/Communication & team handling skills. Guidewire Cloud implementation testing experience. Practical knowledge working in an Agile environment. Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code. Strong problem-solving ability. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication). Good to have BDD frameworks with Gherkin & C#
