Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Solar Project Engineer to support the design and execution of solar EPC projects. The role involves preparing technical designs, coordinating procurement, supervising site activities, and ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys, electricity bill analysis, shadow analysis, feasibility studies, and design calculations.
  • Prepare layouts, SLDs, cable sizing, BOQs and project schedule.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of components & execution team for timely completion of the project.
  • Supervise site activities including module mounting, cabling, inverter installation, and testing.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Support in documentation, permits, and DISCOM approvals.
  • Assist in system testing, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Maintain daily site reports and escalate issues to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in solar EPC project execution.
  • Knowledge of solar modules, inverters, structures, and BOS.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, MS Office, and basic project scheduling tools.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to sites.
