Works Manager / Plant Head

Location- Silvassa (1 position) and Guwahati (1 position)

Education Requirements : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Plastics / Production Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 14–18 years in PET bottle manufacturing
Industry: Plastics Packaging (PET Bottle Manufacturing)

Desired Candidate Profile
Technical: Strong expertise in ASB single-stage & double-stage machines.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage 100+ workforce, shifts, and labor relations.
Strong knowledge of mold design, preform/bottle development, and process optimization.
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Operations
Manage end-to-end factory operations for PET bottle manufacturing.
Ensure smooth running of ASB machines (50MB, 70DPW, 70H, 12M, Version 3 – Single & Double Stage (Preferred)).
Optimize production planning, machine efficiency, and minimize downtime.
Oversee mold changeovers, process settings, and cycle time efficiency.
2. Quality & Compliance
Maintain strict quality control standards for PET bottles.
Ensure compliance with ISO, Food Safety, BRC Packaging, and customer requirements.
Manage internal & external audits, achieving zero non-conformance.
3. Team Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate production, maintenance, and QA teams.
Build capability of shift leaders & operators for performance improvement.
Promote discipline, accountability, and a safety-first culture.
4. Maintenance & Technical
Oversee preventive & breakdown maintenance of ASB machines and auxiliaries.
Troubleshoot process and machine issues to reduce stoppages.
Coordinate with OEMs/service providers for technical support and upgrades.
5. Planning & Reporting
Prepare monthly production reports and KPIs.
Deliver on cost, productivity, and quality goals.
Monitor PET resin, masterbatch, and additive consumption to reduce wastage.
6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Enforce safety standards, statutory compliance, and 5S practices.
Drive energy-saving & waste-reduction initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,800, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
