Senior Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Functional Consultant – Dynamics 365 CE
to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of transformative customer engagement solutions for enterprise clients. This role is ideal for professionals with
10+ years of experience in Microsoft Business Applications
, with deep expertise in implementing Dynamics 365 CE across
Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service
.

As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to modernize CRM processes, enhance customer experiences, and deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions in line with Microsoft's best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

  • Lead discovery workshops to capture and analyze business requirements.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and define CRM roadmaps that align with business goals.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Configure Dynamics 365 CE entities, forms, dashboards, business rules, workflows, and Power Automate flows.
  • Translate business processes into scalable, native platform solutions with minimal customization.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to manage integrations, data migration, and extensions.

Governance & Standards

  • Prepare solution design documents, functional specs, and process flows.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, data security, and ALM best practices.

Enablement & Adoption

  • Lead UAT, end-user training, and change enablement activities.
  • Provide ongoing advisory on Microsoft ecosystem updates, including Copilot and AI capabilities.

Pre-Sales Support

  • Conduct solution demos, client workshops, and contribute to proposals and effort estimation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM implementations.
  • Proven expertise across multiple CE modules:
    Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Power Platform
    components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Experience with security roles, business process flows, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on exposure to
    data migration, integration frameworks, and third-party connectors
    .
  • Proficiency in functional documentation, UAT, training, and enablement materials.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as
    Azure DevOps
    .
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.

  • MB-210: Dynamics 365 Sales
  • MB-230: Dynamics 365 Customer Service
  • MB-220: Dynamics 365 Marketing
  • MB-240: Dynamics 365 Field Service
  • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant
  • PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
