Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Java Developer with strong experience in microservices architecture and RESTful web service development . You will be part of the Platform Services team , responsible for architecting and building new backend services that power Vision Link applications. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about scalable backend design and cloud-native development. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java 11 . Build and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new platform services. Leverage AWS technologies (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway) for deployment and scalability. Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning. Support existing services with continuous updates and enhancements. Requirements: 5+ years of backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Java 11 and RESTful Web Services . Solid understanding of microservices architecture and service orchestration. Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred. Basic front-end understanding (approx. 20% of workload). Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
