Job Purpose -

Job Purpose: The Civil Manager at ISB campus plays a pivotal role in coordinating retrofitting initiatives and managing new projects. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination and execution of all civil engineering projects, with a focus on enhancing infrastructure and facilities. The Civil Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of retrofit projects while effectively managing resources and timelines. Additionally, they will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that new construction projects align with organizational goals and standards. The ultimate objective is to contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the ISB campus infrastructure through efficient project management and coordination.

The Manager Civil will play a key role in overseeing civil and infrastructure works at the Indian School of Business (ISB) campus. They will be responsible for managing various civil projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and maintaining the campus infrastructure to ensure a safe and functional environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Job SpecificationKnowledge / EducationBachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.

Specific Skillsknowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.communication and interpersonal skills.to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Experience7- 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and project management.

Key Responsibilities and % Time SpentProject Management –execute, and manage civil projects from start to finish, integrating CAD drawings throughout the process.with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment with project objectives, budget, and timeline.CAD drawings effectively for visualizing project designs and facilitating communication among stakeholders.project progress closely, identifying and addressing issues or delays promptly to maintain schedule adherence.retrofitting initiatives and new construction projects aimed at enhancing ISB campus infrastructure.with internal teams and external partners to optimize resource utilization and achieve project goals efficiently.compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols throughout all project phases.assess and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project team members to drive successful outcomes.Contribute to the long-term development and improvement of ISB campus facilities through strategic planning and execution of civil engineering projects. - 30%
