We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP APO PPDS (Advanced Planning and Optimization - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP APO PPDS module, with expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting production planning and scheduling solutions.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of supply chain planning processes, master data management, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

Implementation : Lead and participate in SAP APO PPDS implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Configuration : Configure SAP APO PPDS functionalities to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.

Master Data Management : Develop and maintain master data structures and hierarchies in SAP APO PPDS, including materials, resources, and production processes.

Production Planning : Plan and schedule production orders, work centers, and resources using SAP APO PPDS tools and algorithms, optimizing production efficiency and resource utilization.

Detailed Scheduling : Perform detailed scheduling of production operations, taking into account constraints such as capacity, material availability, and lead times.

Integration : Integrate SAP APO PPDS with other SAP modules such as SAP ECC (ERP Central Component), SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), and external systems to support end-to-end supply chain processes.

User Training : Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of SAP APO PPDS functionalities.

Support and Maintenance : Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP APO PPDS systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP APO PPDS configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions and support business objectives.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience : 4 to 7 years of professional experience in SAP APO PPDS implementation and support.

Technical Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of SAP APO PPDS module, including configuration, master data management, production planning, and detailed scheduling.

- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.

- Experience with integration of SAP APO PPDS with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Proficiency in SAP APO PPDS tools and functionalities for production planning and scheduling.

- Knowledge of SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
