What’s the Role?The Azure / MSBI Architect role will be part of our Analytics practice and will be focused on delivering best of breed technology solutions based on Azure & MSBI stack for Exusia’ s clients. The candidate will also be part of the practice team and contribute to Competency development & driving innovation through various internal initiatives within the company. Candidate should have more than 6 years of experience with broad exposure to Microsoft technologies.Key Responsibilities:Work on client projects to deliver Microsoft based Data engineering & Analytics solutionsProvide hands on technical leadership for relevant technical skills on multiple projects if requiredEngineer and implement scalable analytics solutions both on premise & Cloud platformsDesign data pipelines to ingest & integrate structured/unstructured data from heterogeneous sourcesCollaborate with delivery leadership to deliver projects on time adhering to the quality standardsContribute to the growth of the Microsoft Analytics practice by helping with solutioning for prospectsContribute to talent recruitment, competency building and providing mentor-ship to junior resources

Criteria for the RoleThe successful candidate would need to have 5+yrs of experience and should possess a broad set of capabilities, depth of knowledge and variety of experiences. The competency needs for this role are as follows.

Mandatory Skills:In-depth knowledge on SQL Server/SSIS. Should have solid experience using SSIS for ETL processingExperience on Azure Synapse Analytics with demonstrated hands on experience on at least 1 projectStrong knowledge of Azure Data pipeline tools Azure Data Factory and /or Azure DatabricksWorking knowledge of Power BI & Embedded Analytics using Power BI Embedded and .NETProblem-solving skills along with good interpersonal & communication skillsSelf-starter who can work on any Azure Services in the Analytics spaceExperience building operational/interactive Model-driven & Canvas based applications using Power AppsExperience working with data from DataVerse and Azure SQL DatabaseAutomating workflows and business processes with Power Apps & Power AutomateIntegrate Power Platform components with Azure based services and Azure security layer

Nice-to-Have SkillsWorking knowledge of SSRS and SSASExposure to Analytics services available on AzureInstallation & Configuration of Microsoft tools both On Premise & AzureUnderstanding of Data Modeling & Other ETL tools is desirableExposure to Other BI / Visual Analysis tools like Tableau, Looker is desirableExperience with Excel Macros and VBScriptExposure to any other low code/No code platforms for building data centric apps will be a plus
