We require a technical person for ID card printers in the Smart Card department. Location is Delhi

Technician will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ID card printing systems. This role involves ensuring optimal printer performance, resolving hardware and software issues, and providing support to partners. The job may also include tasks like setting up new printers, configuring software.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Setup: Installing and configuring ID card printers, including hardware and associated software.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance on printers, diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues related to printer functionality, software, and connectivity.
  • Partner Support: Providing assistance to partners on how to operate the printers, troubleshoot common problems, and utilize the software effectively. Proper training to partners team for increasing productivity.
  • Documentation: Maintaining records of maintenance and repairs. Creating and handling AMCs
  • Managing print jobs: Sending project print jobs to the printers, monitoring the progress, and resolving any issues related to print output.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including operating systems (like Windows), printer drivers, and related software applications.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of the mechanical components of printers and the ability to perform basic repairs.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical information to customer and partners to provide effective support.
  • Customer Service: Patience and willingness to assist partners and customers with their printing needs.
  • Working with different card technologies: Understanding different types of ID card technologies, such as magnetic stripe cards, proximity cards, and smart cards.
