Job Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in optimizing sales processes, managing the quote-to-order process, and providing analytical support to our sales team. This role requires a strong business acumen, outstanding numerical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Optimize Sales Processes: Develop, implement, and refine sales processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness from quote to order.
  • Quote-to-Order Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end quote-to-order process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Analytical Support: Provide analytical and process support for complex, non-standard deals. Analyze sales data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, legal, and other teams to streamline deal approvals and facilitate smooth deal execution.
  • Pricing Strategy: Contribute to the evolution of our pricing model by identifying pricing templates and building pre-approved approaches to financial structures, discounts, and non-standard terms & conditions.
  • Training: Educate the sales team on optimizing pricing parameters and utilizing sales tools effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve sales processes, implement new templates in CRM (salesforce.com), and drive efficiency in a dynamic environment.
  • Metrics: Define and analyze key metrics to measure the success of the sales operations function.
  • Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a sales operations or similar role, preferably within a SaaS company.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce.com; experience with CPQ tools and their implementation is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
