Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals in identifying, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers for plastic and paper products.
- Oversee and guide technical aspects related to plastic and paper product manufacturing, including injection molding, thermoforming, gas flush, and tooling processes.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and lead times for all product categories.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D and production teams to ensure products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently.
- Assess and review potential suppliers’ manufacturing capabilities, including factory audits and technical evaluations of their processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in manufacturing techniques, materials, and production technology.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align production and sourcing strategies with overall business goals.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on sourcing performance, cost analysis, and production timelines for upper management.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality control measures, and environmental regulations.
