Your responsibilities encompass both manual and automated testing. Moreover, you'll design systems and configurations to manage system load, as well as tackle performance-driven test cases and optimization scenarios. You’ll have the full power of AWS at your disposal while you focus on building and testing Serverless solutions (either brand new or assisting in migrating services to Serverless). As part of our core governance teams, your team will fully own their services (from code to deployment and monitoring), you’ll participate in feature design and architecture discussion and regularly demo to the entire department.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and document test strategies and automated solutions for functional and non-functional testing.Integrate test automation with build and delivery pipeline; optimize the pipelines and coach others on continuous delivery principles so we can release to production regularly, quickly, and safely.Establish processes and toolset to maintain automation executions and generate quality metric and test reports.Work closely with Product team, analyze functional requirements, use cases, and explain to team.Work in a collaborative environment where you regularly pair, plan, and execute tasks as a team and strive to optimize your team’s Lead Time, Deployment Frequency, Mean-time-to-recovery, and Change Failure Rate.Conduct testing and validation of automated processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.Monitoring application performance and responding to incidents.Provide guidance on test designs and automation best practices, provide constructive peer code reviews so everyone can grow and learn alongside you.Help break down initiatives to deliver increments of the requirements to each stage.Independently manage your tasks in JIRA with minimum Manager involvement.What you need to succeedBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or related field.3-5 years of professional experience delivering large-scale, high availability, secure applications in an agile environment.Should have experience in manual testing.Strong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail and with a diligent mindset.Passion for learning, sharing your knowledge and continuous improvement.Proficiency in Python and Pytest is must.Experience in JavaScript / Typescript is an added advantage.Hands on working experience designing and extending test frameworks based on open-source test framework stacks such as Pytest, Selenium, Cypress, K6.Proven experience in building scalable enterprise applications and test infrastructure.Good Knowledge of Software Development/Testing Life Cycle.Experienced in testing RESTful web services.Experience with CI/CD systems such as Semaphore, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS Code Build and Code Pipeline is an advantage.Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, reporting and analytical skills.Excitement for understanding our customers and their problems, so that we can improve governance all around the world.Experience working with Agile and Kanban / Scrum processes and following strong development and testing processes.Experience with good security practices in enterprise application development.Knowledge of SQL or NOSQL databases.Knowledge of performance, load, and stress testing web applications.What Diligent Offers YouCreativity is ingrained in our culture.
