ob Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team at Chubb. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing and translating business needs into comprehensive requirements for our business systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and IT teams, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals, needs, and challenges.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, use cases, and requirements traceability matrix.
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge the gap between existing and desired capabilities.
Lead requirements gathering workshops and meetings, ensuring active participation from all relevant stakeholders.
Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, and make informed decisions.
Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
Provide support and guidance to junior business analysts, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficiency in requirement management tools and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and meetings, effectively capturing and documenting requirements.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is highly desired.
Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
