Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Management

  2. Assist in maintaining day-to-day financial transactions.

  3. Prepare and manage general ledger entries.

  4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

  5. Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash.

  6. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  7. Process invoices and payments to vendors.

  8. Handle customer invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments.

  9. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies.

  10. Financial Reporting:

  11. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  12. Support in the preparation of financial reports for management.

  13. Help in analyzing financial data and trends.

  14. Tax and Compliance:

  15. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, etc.).

  16. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.

  17. Coordinate with auditors during audit procedures.

  18. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  19. Assist in preparing budget reports and forecasts.

  20. Help monitor budget adherence and variances in financial performance.

  21. Internal Control:

  22. Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies.

  23. Identify and implement cost-saving measures across departments.

  24. Other Responsibilities:

  25. Maintain financial records and document transactions appropriately.

  26. Communicate effectively with other departments regarding financial matters.

  27. Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis or projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in finance, payroll and accounting roles

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with financial software and MS Excel.

  • Good analytical and numerical skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Zoho Books).

  • Experience with tax and regulatory filings.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
