Your Role: Senior Executive Finance & Accounts

As a Senior Executive in the Finance & Accounts department, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting general ledger and accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance, and preparing financial reports. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger (GL):

  • Post journal entries and ensure completeness and accuracy of GL transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Conduct periodic ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist in audits by preparing reports, schedules, and backup documentation.

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor AP aging and support payment runs as per the schedule.
  • Resolve vendor issues and discrepancies in coordination with procurement and operations.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of TDS, GST, and related compliance.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit MIS reports, payment trackers, and variance analyses.
  • Support internal and statutory audit requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for compliance and internal controls.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within finance operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Educational Qualification: M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent postgraduate degree in finance/accounting, CA Inter, CA, CMA
  • Experience: 3–6 years in finance operations, preferably in GL and AP.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations (GST, TDS).
  • Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or shared services environments.
  • Exposure to financial automation tools (e.g., Power BI, RPA).
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
