Your work profile In our BPS Tax team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include: The Senior Manager – Payroll Solutions will play a pivotal role in driving payroll transformation engagements with clients. This role requires deep expertise in payroll processes and compliance, strong client advisory capabilities, and the ability to oversee multiple implementations simultaneously. The Senior Manager will be accountable for ensuring successful presales engagements, solution design, and on-time, high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities: Presales & Solutioning Lead solution discussions with prospective clients, representing the organization as a subject-matter expert. Design and present payroll operating models aligned to client needs. Support business development with thought leadership and market insights. Implementation Leadership Oversee multiple payroll implementations, ensuring governance, timelines, and quality standards are met. Drive key client decisions on payroll technology, integrations, and compliance frameworks. Mentor and guide project managers and payroll leads on delivery excellence. Client Advisory & Relationship Management Act as a trusted advisor to CHROs, CFOs, and senior stakeholders. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and upsell. Handle escalations with professionalism and solution-oriented thinking. Team Leadership & Governance Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless implementations. Establish governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms for senior stakeholders. Build capability within the payroll solutions team through coaching and knowledge sharing. Desired qualifications 10–14 years of experience in payroll solutions and operations, with significant client-facing and implementation leadership exposure. Deep understanding of payroll compliance in India; global payroll knowledge will be a plus. Strong presales and solutioning experience in HR/payroll outsourcing. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale client implementations. Excellent executive presence, communication, and influencing skills. PMP/Prince2 or similar project management certification preferred. Location and way of working. Base location:. This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations.
